Job Summary:

We are seeking an Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and blueprints to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for construction projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction estimating and project management. Background in Civil structural engineering preferred

Duties:

- Review and interpret project plans, requirements, and specifications
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates using software
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for bids
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
- Develop detailed proposals and contracts based on project requirements
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and timelines throughout the construction process
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project profitability
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, regulations, and quality standards

Experience:

- Experience in construction estimating, including knowledge of industry best practices
- Proficiency in construction management software
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
- Ability to build accurate estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors and subcontractors
- Knowledge of cost control methods to manage project budgets effectively
